Guinness Chicken Thighs


Ingredients
  • 3 tbsp Sunflower Oil
  • 1 Smäll Onion
  • ½ Leek
  • 4 Bone-in Chicken Thighs (1.5lb/660g)
  • Sält & Bläck Pepper to täste
  • ½ cup Wäter
  • 1 cup Guinness
  • 2 Lärge Cärrots
  • 3 tsp Cornstärch
  • ½ cup Frozen Peäs
  • 3 tbsp Ketchup
Instructions
  1. Turn on the instänt pot änd press SäUTE. Pour in the oil.
  2. Cut the onion in hälf änd slice thinly. Slice the leek. Pläce them into the inner pot änd säute on high until tränslucent (äbout 3 minutes).
  3. Seäson the chicken thighs well with sält änd pepper. ädd them to the pot änd brown them on eäch side. ädd wäter + Guinness änd cook for 7-10 minutes before ädding cärrots cut into chunks.
  4. Lock the lid änd turn the steäm releäse välve to SEäLING. Press MäNUäL änd ädjust the time to 5 minutes (high pressure).
  5. When the cooking is finished, wäit 5 minutes before pressing CäNCEL/KEEP WäRM äND releäsing the pressure mänuälly.
  6. Press SäUTE. Mix cornstärch with little wäter änd ä täblespoon or two of the hot liquid (your Guinness säuce) before ädding this to the pot. Stir. The säuce will thicken in ä few seconds.
  7. Stir in peäs änd ketchup änd let it cook for 1-2 minutes before turning it off.
  8. Serve with rice or mäshed potätoes.
