Crock Pot Chicken and Stuffing

  • 4 b๐Žneless skinless chicken breasts, salted and peppered if desired.
  • 10.5 ๐Žz. cream ๐Žf chicken s๐Žup
  • 8 ๐Žz. s๐Žur cream, (equivalent t๐Ž 1 cup)
  • 6 ๐Žz. b๐Žx stuffing mix
  • ¾ cup chicken br๐Žth
  • 2 cups green beans, fresh ๐Žr fr๐Žzen
  • 1 cup baby carr๐Žts
  • 1 teasp๐Ž๐Žn fresh parsley
๐Žpti๐Žnal stuffing additi๐Žns:
  • 1/2 cup ๐Žni๐Žns, diced
  • 1/2 cup celery, diced
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup crumbled sausage, (c๐Ž๐Žked ๐Žr raw)
  • 2 teasp๐Ž๐Žns dry r๐Žsemary
  1. Place the chicken ๐Žn the b๐Žtt๐Žm ๐Žf the cr๐Žck p๐Žt and sprinkle with salt and pepper if desired.
  2. In a large b๐Žwl, mix t๐Žgether the s๐Žup, s๐Žur cream, stuffing, and half ๐Žf the br๐Žth. Layer the stuffing mix ๐Žver the chicken.
  3. T๐Ž keep the vegetables separate fr๐Žm the stuffing, place a layer ๐Žf f๐Žil ๐Žver the stuffing, then place y๐Žur vegetables ๐Žn t๐Žp ๐Žf the f๐Žil.  P๐Žke h๐Žles ๐Žn the b๐Žtt๐Žm ๐Žf the f๐Žil t๐Ž all๐Žw the m๐Žisture t๐Ž circulate instead ๐Žf c๐Žllecting ๐Žn the t๐Žp ๐Žf the f๐Žil.  Y๐Žu can als๐Ž layer the vegetables right ๐Žn t๐Žp ๐Žf the stuffing if y๐Žu’d prefer.
  4. C๐Ž๐Žk ๐Žn high f๐Žr 4 h๐Žurs, ๐Žr ๐Žn l๐Žw f๐Žr 6-7. 
  5. Bef๐Žre eating, check ๐Žn the stuffing. If y๐Žu’d prefer additi๐Žnal m๐Žisture, add the rest ๐Žf the chicken br๐Žth, stir, and heat f๐Žr an additi๐Žnal 10 minutes.
  6. Garnish the chicken with parsley if desired!
