VEGAN BLACK PEPPER TOFU


INGREDIENTS
  • 400 g firm tofu, pressed*
  • 2 tbsp tamari or soy sauce
  • cornflour / cornstarch
  • 3-4 tbsp high smoke oil (or l-2 tbsp if you bake your tofu)
  • BLACK PEPPER SAUCE
  • 5 tbsp / 75 ml tamari (for gluten-free version) or soy sauce
  • 5 tsp rice wine vinegar
  • 2 tbsp / 30 ml maple syrup or dark brown sugar
  • 3 level tsp cornflour /
